Monthly Organized Play at Diversions!
These open role-playing sessions welcome players of all experience levels; with the option to join as your schedule allows, this format of RPG play is great for players with busy or unpredictable schedules. Players are requested to pre-register (see session info below), but consistent attendance is not required!
Players will need to pay for a Gaming Pass for the evening; any other expenses are optional.
Organized play generally uses the most current edition of each system (currently Pathfinder 2E and Starfinder 2E).
Shifting Corridors Lodge
Organized Play is endorsed by Diversions and organized independently by Shifting Corridors Lodge, who organize monthly games in Cedar Rapids, North Liberty, and at Diversions. You can see their full event calendar and keep up with Lodge activities on their website.
Questions or feedback? Reach out to Venture Captain Marty Henderson.
Pathfinder & Starfinder Schedule
Sessions are currently planned on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month, starting at 5:30 PM. Session playtime varies, but usually run no less than three hours. Session details are listed below.
May
Wednesday, May 13
Pathfinder
5:30 PM
The Crocodile's Smile (Level 1-4) with Josh G.
Attend an auction in Jalmeray. Surveil an enemey of the soeciety. That said enemy is a Rakshasa an could murder you just by thinking it was a good idea is something you should put out of your mind. Good thing you singed a waiver. Also there is art theft.
6:00 PM
Perch of Liberty (Level 3-4) with Scott L.
Cheliax is a terrible place to live if you aren't part of the infernal army. It is probably terrible for them too but they deserve it. The Windspire Strix do not deserve it. The Hellknight Order of the Chain plans to ambush the Strix and conscript them into the Chelaxian army. Your job is to make that not happen by any means neccesary, but probably with rogueish tomfoolery.
Starfinder (at 6PM)
Magic in the Mist (Level 1-2) with Scott L.
In the future, Hellknights are still jerks. When the Society discovers a sizeable piece broken off of the Wreck of the Returned they dispatch a team to investigate (spoilers, that’s you.) Unfortunately, the Hellknights are already there and are very bad at sharing. Also, they have a scorched earth policy so get in there and uncover what you can about the First Ones and the Wreck before the Hellknights institute flamethrower-based censorship.
Wednesday, May 27
Pathfinder
5:30 PM
Path of Kings (Level 3-6) with Josh E.
Sail across the Arcadian Ocean to establish the Arcadian Pathfinder Lodge in Arcadia, the land of one name. Negotiate with the Ulfen and Arcadians. Try not to get mauled by a bear, a guy... or a bear-guy.
Starfinder
6:00 PM
Friends of the Forest (Level 1-2) with Marty H.
Travel to Marata, one of the moons of the gas giant Bretheda to find one of the ingredients required to innoculate against the Conversion process, which is turning the wildlife and residents of Akiton into monstrous servants of the First Ones. No pressure, but don't screw this one up. Fortunately a biotech corporation is already on site and they are definitely not horrifically exploiting the environment and endangering the entire ecosystem. Yay.
