# Ten Ton Tabletop Game Night
Big-box, brain burners, and beefy games galore!
A game night for fans of complex, heavy, crunchy, or dense games – or gamers who want to expand their gaming repertoire. Ten Ton Tabletop Game Night will feature a ‘learn and play’ game from Diversions’ library, but we strongly encourage folks to bring their own favorite heavy-weight game to share! Whether you can teach it easily or you’re looking for some help learning the game, our friendly gaming community welcomes any eager gamers with games to share.

Heavy games can be a hassle to get to the table, especially when learning them for the first time, so let’s work together to get you playing those brain burners faster at Ten Ton Tabletop Game Night!

Root is a game of adventure and war, in which players battle for control of a vast wilderness! Each player in Root has unique capabilities and a different victory condition.
Whether you’re the nefarious Marquise de Cat, seizing the great woodland, intent on harvesting its riches, or the Woodland Alliance who will seek to strengthen its resources and subvert the rule of others. Or perhaps, you may be the wandering Vagabond who is able to move through the more dangerous woodland paths and ally or betray the other factions. Or lastly, you might be the Eyrie Dynasty, an ancient faction of royal birds, looking to reclaim their birthright under their new leaders. The stage is set for a contest that will decide the fate of the great woodland. It is up to the players to decide which group will ultimately take root with woodland might and right!
